Devon ConQuacktors lose Devon Duck Trophy on tie-break!
Monday,
4th April 2011
Yesterday evening, BSW Consulting hosted a charity pub games evening at the
Seven Stars in Kennford in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
The evening
was a reincarnation of the Devon Duck, formerly an annual event hosted
by CIOB up until a few years ago.
Skittles, dominoes, jenga, connect4, duck (a twisted version of ‘beetle’) and shove ha’penny were played in pursuit of the coveted Devon Duck trophy, and after extensive efforts, Devon ConQuacktors held a three way tie at the end of the evening, which was unfortunately lost on a tie-break Pub Quiz.
Congratulations to the BSW Team that won the event, and especially well done for organising a really fun evening that raised over £250 for the Children's Hospice South West.
