Kenwith Castle Retirement Home, Abbotsham, Bideford

Originally a regency gothic villa, this building was extended and converted into a hotel which was purchased by the client. The hotel was extended and modified to create a sixty bedroom complex with extensive community facilities.

Honiton Hospital

This £1.4million extension to Honiton Community Hospital was constructed for the Devon Primary Care Trust to provide a new Renal Unit for the Hospital. This was a fast track project, with a contract programme of only twenty six weeks.

Our construction team were faced with the enormous challenge of working in a fully operational hospital with very high infection control standards and scrupulous hygene control. Lots of thought had to go into contructing facilities for use with specialist medical equipment and installations, but nonetheless the project was completed on time, and within budget.

The extension was officially opened by local MP and Minister of State for Health, Mr. Ben Bradshaw.
