Castle Primary School, Tiverton

Devon Contractors completed an extension to the main school buildings to provide additional teaching space, a nursery reception area, conveniences and extensive exterior landscaping.

Topsham Primary School

Late 2009 saw us return to Topsham Primary School to add new classrooms, offices and staff rooms to the school whilst it was occupied for the busy Autumn Term.

New Library & Sixth Form Centre, Plymouth High School for Girls

The High School for Girls instructed us to refurbish a Grade II Listed Victorian Annexe with a new mezzanine, extension and environmental controls to form the new Library and Sixth Form Centre. 

 

Mayflower Community School, Ham, Plymouth 

This Plymouth City Council school reorganisation project is in partnership with the governing bodies of Ham Drive Nursery School, North Prospect Primary School and South Trelawny Primary School.

In September 2009, the North Prospect and South Trelawny Primary Schools were replaced by a brand new, state-of-the-art community primary school on a site next to Ham Drive Nursery School. 

 

Sherwell Vally Primary School, Torbay

This project was featured on the BBC's Spotlight Programme.

Four new classrooms, a meeting hall, IT suite, and new external play area were all added to the school. This project was undertaken to a tight timescale whilst the school was fully occupied with students, with very little disruption to the pupils' learning environment.

Topsham School

This new primary school was completed in 2000 for Devon County Council.

Holsworthy Primary School

This was a brand new primary school built for Devon County Counci in 1999. A further extension at the community college was completed in 2000.

 

East Devon College, Tiverton

These substantial enlargement and newbuild works were finished in 2002

Tiverton High School

This was a phased refurbishment of both the interior and exterior of the canteen and kitchens, on behalf of Devon County Council.

Sidmouth College   

The new textiles block at Sidmouth College, completed in 2003, was the first of a two phase addition to the school's facilities.

Devon Contractors built both phase one and phase two, and has subsequently finished a new IT suite in the school's grounds.
