Beacon Park Police Station, Plymouth

The Police Station at Beacon Park Road, Plymouth, was completely stripped out and refurbished, while an existing extension was demolished and rebuilt to be larger, better laid out and suitably serviced with modern environmental controls.

The exceptionally cold weather in December 2010 and January 2011 caused delays of more than five weeks, which were recovered by the end of the contract.

The police were very pleased with the finished building, particularly the high standard of accommodation achieved from a very modest budget and specification.
