Horizon View, Westwood Ho!, North Devon

The site was on the land of the former Bath Hotel, which had fallen into major disrepair and had been derelict for some years. The former hotel was demolished and the masonry walls were crushed for re-use on site as part of the make up of the parking area. The new apartments were designed to be constructed using a reinforced concrete frame with masonry external walls, rendered with a proprietary insulated pre-coloured render finish. The roof uses an aluminium standing seam system with 200mm of insulation. There is an underground car park designed for sixty-two vehicles, as well as an external car park designed for a further thirty-eight vehicles.
