Housing Development, Axminster

Located in the very centre of Axminster, this collection of four town houses was built on the site of the old bakery. Several dilapidated buildings were demolished and the courtyard was restored to create an attractive, private and characterful mews. Our Design and Build team delighted the client by redesigning the scheme to incorporate an extra house into the street, and additional bedrooms in the loft spaces.

The access to the site posed a real challenge for our Site Team; the roads through Axminster town centre rapidly diminish in size away from the railway, and the turning into the site is very sharp and restricted in height. There was no more than a parking space available for a site compound, and yet our Team delivered the project, and the Client’s additional instructions, on time and within budget.
