The site of the old Carton Theatre in Teignmouth was demolished to make way for the new Pavilions Teignmouth, a fantastic arts community venue on the seafront. This project has been a great success, providing performance space for local groups and artists, with fold away amphitheater seating and a stowaway cinema screen. There is a cafe downstairs, a bar upstairs with an outdoor terrace, dance studios, meeting rooms and a suite of incubator offices perfect for start up businesses to hire. The focus of the project was to create a flexible space for use by the whole community year round. This is certainly a project which Devon Contractors have been proud to be a part of.
