2007

New Management

Company shareholding taken on by 4 existing members of staff, to form part of the new board of directors.
1990

Diversifying

Adapting to current trends, the company ventured into new sectors including leisure, retail, education and healthcare projects
1953

Business Change

Transformed into an incorporated limited company, the business diversified in the late fifties to include agricultural and industrial projects. Many local farms still feature barns, warehouse and stores that have the Devon Contractors green plate visible, just below the apex of the roof.
1946

Devon Contractors Founded

Founded in Exeter by the Murrin Family, Devon Contractors was created to assist in the re-build and revival of Exeter, and the surrounding areas, after World War II.
